Iron Man 3 deals with the fall-out of The Avengers and leads directly into Tony creating Ultron in Age of Ultron
The Dark World introduces the third Infinity Stone
The Winter Soldier basically ends SHIELD and sets up where Cap is at the start of Civil War
Guardians introduces the cosmic universe and further explains the Infinity Stones
Age of Ultron divides the heroes before Civil War and introduces more tension in the group
Ant-Man is the only film that doesn’t connect to any overarching narrative or themes, but it’s basically a palette cleanser before Civil War
