Run em over with the batmobile and say it was an accident and self defense

and all the Black ones wear masks. I never thought about this

I saw you mention that awhile back and thought about. You onto something.

Well yeah bro, all the hipsters & Arts students that took a couple Philosophy classes WANT to view Joker as an anarchic symbol of freedom and state-defiance. (& before you little gremlins get a hard on, I know Ledger & Joaquins jokers were better, just not true to the comic).

The joker wouldn’t long-talk or explain like Joaquins (no knock, he did a great job). He would fkn slap you around & rob you.

The real Joker, at his core comic book essence, was a f***ing mob boss villain who would scoop in on a helicopter, shoot you in the d*** with a rocket launcher, and then bang Harley Quinn while she was suspended in midair from the helicopter. The guy was a cold-hearted thug.

Yeah I wasnt a fan of that whole pseudo deep Joker that casuals somehow created. The clown themed mob boss seems more accurate

Watching this new Superman movie... Smallville definitely a "sundown town"

Facts, I love how Leto’s Joker wasn’t shown as a mopey/sad little prick. The guy was a manic badass with ammunition. Like a coked out mobster.

I agree though - his character was NOT well written/scripted.

Jared Leto had the most realistic and true to comic Joker.

I really wish he got more time with that role.

I think they were making a spin-off movie for him, that or a bigger role in Suicide Squad 2.

Not really “created by casuals” though...there’s plenty of comics that take a more nuanced approach to the character...take The Killing Joke for example

As someone who loved Batman Forever as a kid

While I like the direction that Nolan took Batman (and subsequently DC/Superhero films as a whole) in the wake of Batman and Robin

I do miss just loud flashy superhero movies and I think that's why Marvel has succeeded. They give you rollercoaster rides like Scorsese said instead of trying to a***yze society in every film lol

Admittedly haven't seen Aquaman and WW though maybe they do that in those films

Would love to see a Batman and Joker film where Joker just has no logic or depression or emo-ness lol. Lowkey I do think Nolan's joker got part of that right with him just wanting to see s*** burn

Hold up. Batman had Gordon blow up the tracks to kill Ras Al Ghoul so that Batman didn't have to "kill" anyone
he a literal mob boss having the cops do his dirty work
