I like the meme that asserts that this is why half his face always goes uncovered, as he needs the cops to know he’s still white.
I can't believe I never thought of this. I'm crying laughing right now
It is. Niggas say if you strip away his suit and Iron Man's suit that Bruce can still beat Stark. But Bruce used white privilege to buy karate classes. It is his super power

I was thinking the same s***. Explains why they never shoot at that area.

I love the 90’s animated series but Batman kind of is pure white supremacist fantasy the more you unpack it. He’s the most far-fetched character in the Justice League, a mortal-ass white man who just so happens to be a martial arts master billionaire genius detective/biochemist and strikes fear in the hearts of gods and aliens
Batman slander is aimed at the post-Frank Miller dark, brooding and borderline psychotic Batman that’s a glorified Police power fantasy. This is the Batman that most people have known for the last 30+ years in popular media. Frank Miller is known for depicting characters and themes that have suspiciously far-right power fantasy undertones, so if the modern public perception of Batman is based on a version he created…well you know the rest
We need a new type of Batman, and have needed a new type of Batman for a while. Seeing a dark and gritty Batman was cool, but it’s overstayed it’s welcome and turned a character who was a symbol of channeling trauma into positivity into someone who’s as troubling as the criminals he goes after

Anyone saying “Batman beats mentally ill poor people up, He’s a rich white guy power fantasy” need to understand for the love of god that they’re painfully lame. We’ve heard this trite a million times. It’s boring, you’re a dweeb. Frank Miller will be a GOAT long after ya dead.
This doesn’t need to be 22 pages. Happy Thanksgiving.

Reminds me, was listening to one podcast earlier this week talk about The Joker movie
“What better way to have a discussion about the stigma towards those with mental health issues by using a guy who dresses up as a clown & murders people on live television”
