Our imperfections and limits are what make us human. I see this and fear a future where rappers and singers whose voices are fine get ran through AI filters to make them sound more like themselves. Lost your voice on tour? AI voice fix it in real time. I don’t like the thought of that. And yes this is obviously different than autotune which needs a human to set the plugin parameters and s*** etc

I don’t see any reason to be this optimistic. Because if you want dustheads to get their old flow back, we see what they end up doing. They have someone record their verse for them and have the ai voice filter replicate the “artist’s” voice.

Not at all. Autotune is a tool and you need a human to control the parameters and stuff. You’re not fooling anyone or trying to. No one thinks Travis Scott’s voice really sounds like that.

I just find most people's criticisms towards artists using AI to be extremely invalid. Because most times, it's just anger towards people who use AI in the most lazy way similar to Samplers and Auto-Tune.
