Only chances of that is if labels try to use their unreleased/unfinished music against them in the most evil fashion.
But that's where AI needs to be copyrighted by the artists.

Our imperfections and limits are what make us human. I see this and fear a future where rappers and singers whose voices are fine get ran through AI filters to make them sound more like themselves. Lost your voice on tour? AI voice fix it in real time. I don’t like the thought of that. And yes this is obviously different than autotune which needs a human to set the plugin parameters and s*** etc
By that logic autotune takes away imperfections and limits too. And AI voice stuff needs a human to set it up too, it’s not literally just AI doing it all. There’s a human who set up the beanie Siegel voice filter and edited it to make it work

Yea no one thinks travis really sounds like that, but there's plenty of singers that use melodyne and other tuners without the noticeable robot effect that fool people

The decisions that go into tweaking autotune are artistic because they’re open ended. There are a million different ways one can take it.
“AI”, which is just a marketing term, usually in this context means “using AI to replicate someone’s voice”. Replicating prime Beanie Seigel’s voice does take human technical skill but it’s not a creative decision. It’s a dumb novelty.
Jan 12I’m for this type of A.I usage. It serves more as a creative tool than as a technological crutch.
Cuz Beanie is still rapping and writing it, the human element is still there. It’s just his voice is fine tuned to sound like how he did before he got shot. And he has a pretty justified reason for using it tbh.
Why should he be stuck making music with an inferior voice that everyone would complain about if he has the option to get his old delivery back using technology?
