BIG used the fictional movie "King Of New York" in more ways than one. Not only did he use the "Frank White" nick name, he also said he thought about the movie when dealing with the Tupac situation. Specifically when Pac was in jail.
There is a scene in the movie where Frank White gets out of jail and asks his friend (Lawrence Fishburn) why he didn't visit him in jail. Fishburn responds "I didnt want to see you locked up in a cage, man". Which Frank takes as a reasonable excuse. BIG thought the same about Pac--he did not want to see him in a cage at his lowest and thought he would go see him after he got out. But by that time it was too late. Just a ton of small mistakes made by each side that led to what it led to
OG album version of Long Kiss Goodnight. Although some say the real OG version was much more direct and even included Pac's name. Once Pac died, BIG reworked it to not make it seem so obvious he was dissing him. The s*** talking at the end, though
"Fuck that!
That n*gga tryna be on that up and coming s***, f*** that!
I ain’t the type to toot my horn, but toot toot motherfucker!
I’m the nicest n*gga in the game, man! Face the motherfucking facts man!
You f***in' with the other side! N*ggas wanna talk lyrical? See me! N*ggas wanna talk gunplay? See me!
Fist fight? See me!!!
Sick of this bullshit
Only reason I ain’t naming no names, is so I don't give these b****-ass n*ggas a chance to make a record coming back just to sell a few units!
(we blowin' kisses at you niggas)

"toot toot mother f***er"
