Christians believe Jesus is God/part of God (trinity)

Muslims believe no human is God, there is only one God and that Jesus was just a prophet

So it's not possible to believe both religions at the same time tbh

    Another big difference:

Christians believe in the original sin and that Jesus died for the sins of humans and that every human is born with sin

Muslims believe humans are born pure and without sin

What aspects of Christianity do you like that you feel you can’t ascribe to if you became Muslim? Asking because tbh a lot of aspects of Christianity and even Judaism are grandfathered into Islam and reaffirmed given that Muhammad (pbuh) is supposed to be the last prophet.

Don’t worry about subscribing to one religion, if you fw the message just take some of that wisdom and apply it into your life.

yeah I don't rly get the point of having to rigidly follow one or the other

I've read some religious works and see the wisdom here and there, so I basically just internalize those parts and relax on the rest

Then it sounds like you are more in line with Islam than Christianity

You can read the Quran and the Bible and just look into stuff

BTW, another big difference is that Muslims don't believe Jesus was resurrected after dying on the cross

  • The question comes down to how you want your wife to dress up and whether or not you into having multiple wives and side pieces.

But to answer your question no.. you can't be a Christian and a Muslim but you can be a Haredi orthodox Jew and a Muslim since they basically believe the same thing and make their women dress the same too!

    Good luck bud

They’re both wrong. There… problem solved

Personally I think churches pick and choose how to interpret their books and spread the message they want to spread instead of from the book itself.

But go to a church service and a mosque service if you want to decide which one to choose.

  • May 26, 2022

Read the Bible and go from there
I never read the Quran so I cant speak on it but I get the appeal of Islam
I was raised Christian and chose to follow Christ of my own volition
I consider Muslims brothers and believe we worship the same God

Read the New testment, Matthew and determine if you want a relationship with Christ
Id even recommend reading all the gospels before making the decision tbh but thats alot of heavy lifting

Ah okay I feel you fam. Your upbringing is really interesting! The fact that you’re asking questions and think highly of both religions and their key figures shows you’re on the right path.

Honestly I say just keep doing what your doing and you’ll eventually figure it out. I’d suggest reading both the Quran and the Bible and visit your local church on Sunday service and mosque on Friday prayer

  • @OP If you become a Shia you can still await the return of Christ
