We literally spend trillions every decade on war, weapons, and corruption (the Pentagon literally “lost” TRILLIONS of dollars. The fact that denying poor people healthcare is the hill you choose to die on when your govt literally throws money away and your countrymen are perishing because they can’t afford treatment in the richest country in the world tells me all I ever need to know about you. Straight clown.
Imo employers, insurance companies, health industry should be better regulated than just taxing the middle class.

They should. Healthcare shouldn’t be a racket rich crackers can play with. It’s literally a necessity. Same with real estate to me but that’s another issue.

Real Estate is way over saturated, the only way to get rich off real estate today is under the table deals with kick backs from government or contract work. Housing prices need to come down, can’t wait for these boomers to die out

There is a difference between democratic socialism and socialism proper: Nordic economies are a prime example of democratic socialism, where state intervenes to implement social programs for the population and maintain them through control of surplus value from government-subsidised firms.
According to any economist you ask, they will tell you straight up that socialism, even if they don’t agree to it, is a technical progress from capitalism. (Except Milton Friedman and the Chicago School, because they are fascists who helped the US exploit less developed/least developed economies for natural resources and shun the development of socialism and communism across the world) Why? Because socialism in the developed world means the fulfilment of all scarcity in the economy: from basic needs to employment, implying that inequalities will diminish.
On the other hand, capitalists try to sell you the idea that some unemployment is good for the economy. And that it’s okay that you are making minimum wage, just try harder by going to school and getting a better job or open a business maybe. How do you do when your means of sustenance is close to nil?
