I hope someone proves me wrong, but I cant stop but feel like he abandoned us right in the middle of a pandemic.

Was he losing? sure. Did he not have a chance in winning? sure.

But to straight up drop out? wave the white flag and accept defeat? That was f***ed up. And he obviously did it to save face to the DNC and give them a heads up to plan their next move.

How can the people in the future even think of voting progressive in the future when the MAN himself accepts defeat in the middle of a pandemic and people are getting f***ed by the economy?

He was the voice of the people and he just decides to abandoned them, proving that you can not beat the elites and corrupt politicians.

Maybe I'm on my feelings rn, maybe im wrong...but I cant stop but feel this way.

I dunno, I just respected the man so much, and if he kneels and endorses and rallies for Biden like we all know he will, then I think we really dont have hope anymore

your first mistake was putting faith in american electoralism.

the nation has been an oligarchy since its inception.

He lost the election and admitted that. He didn't give up on the people, Bernie will continue to fight for progressive policies for the rest of his life and has inspired millions to do so as well.

We lost the battle but the war continues.

i know what you mean man

i've become more and more jaded about american politics as years go by. I think I'm just going to stick to voting third-party from now on

He's been fighting for these things since the 1980s. He just realizes he lost and it's time to focus on the future of the movement, finding the next generation who will carry his message.

Wouldn't say he abandoned us. More so people gave up on him. As much as I like Bernie, there's a level of honesty that we as supporters of him have to face, and it's that he was too soft. With how the political game is you gotta be able to buck back when they throwing clear lies on your name. He did that a bit in the one-on-one debate with Biden, and it made Biden look like even more of a joke than he really is. But he had to keep applying the pressure. And if there was gonna be a debate in April, he should've at least stuck around til then.

true, there was no denying that Bernie was too soft, and always gave the DNC the benefit of the doubt.

I just never expected him to drop out like that

it seems clear to me that the establishment completely squashed any hope for a successful bernie campaign. how did he give in?

he is backing their man, Biden.

that's giving in just like 2016. the man has no balls and should've ran 3rd party in 2016 to make the dems pay, instead he join them and he got played again.

  • Apr 9, 2020

Don't be a whiny little baby. Bernie activated more socialists than anybody. He couldn't even tell people to go out and vote any longer. This election was going to kill people. The dem establishment was willing to let that happen. It was never about a single man. He's not your daddy. On to the next one. Rashida Tlaib 2024. Vote local. Join a union. Join the DSA. Buy a gun. Harass libs. Harass the media. Read theory. Read history. Etc.
