easily my fav so far is Positively 4th Street: the lives and times of joan baez, bob dylan, mimi baez fariña and richard fariña. Felt like a very innovative way to write a biography and gave an interesting look on key side players and in that way a really cool insight into an era.
Room To Dream, the David Lynch biography+memoir. Kind of uncritical portrait as is typical with everything Lynch, but I devoured this. Great stories and some insights into the life of one of the goat living artists.
Every Love Story is a Ghost Story (DFW biography) digs behind the illusion of DFW being a perfectly likable guy but nonetheless made him no less fascinating.
I just ordered this book. I saw someone else recommend it in a different thread and realized it was my goal this year to start reading more so imma do that
