I haven't seen M since 2016

Gunna have to start digging into the Sternberg set.
Saw one 1930 Ozu over the weekend called "I Flunked, But..." I only really knew Ozu from Tokyo Story for the longest time and now after seeing "Good Morning" and this I'm realizing how funny he can be.

I watched it on the Criterion Channel but it did bring up the question of would I rather stream it or watch on the Eclipse DVDs. Would you choose streaming over a 480p DVD at this point? Does it even matter for video from this era? I figured streaming would at least be an HD signal but maybe I should pop in the DVDs to compare.

If they haven't been restored then you're probably better off watching the DVD but I've never really streamed so I don't know

It's probably very close since they weren't restored. If I have the Blu Ray I would always go for that over streaming but I'm reluctant to watch DVDs at this point if there is an alternative. The last movie I watched on DVD was "Death to Smoochy" because it never made it to Blu or streaming lol

Big difference between a crappy 90s DVD and something criterion restored. Sometimes you can hardly tell it isn't blu. Depends on tv size.

Spent my teenage years pounding this and was howling when I saw Little Ceasar and realized how dusty the sample was

Eddie Robinson
@twinkletoez crazy sample from the LC intro credits
