    Leo McCarey masterpiece

    definitely preferred this rags to riches "class" story over yesterdays Imitation of Life where Claudette forced Delilah to sell her secret pancake recipe

    No I didn’t and I promise I didn’t delete anything. All I did was remove the rating.

    yeah honestly i didnt get any of that when i watched it. expected to be dazzle in a gross way but nah just seems like some hitler succ.

    like i said in my review last year;

    I would have taken the Soviet propeganda that actually utilizes dazzling technique to mythologize cows and farming over the Fuhrer any day

    I’m a bigger 70’s guy like I said, but the 30’s essentials are all peak.

    Return of the Vampire from 1943 is pretty underrated, but we’re still a while away from there

    I thought it was funny especially W.C. Fields. You should watch The Merry Widow, Imitation of Life, No Greater Glory, A Story of Floating Weeds, or Dos Monjes which it's a gothic and expressionistic Mexican horror film

    Tried Dos Monjes a few weeks ago but the quality was too garbage for me to get into it just realized I have it on bluray in Scorseses World Cinema collection
