I like Texas Pete Hotter Hot sauce. Tastes different than regular Texas Pete which I am not a fan of, has a real kick that gets me and I eat hot stuff practically daily.
Very overlooked:
The true key to making Asian food spicy and taste good is actually not Siracha (which is basically just ketchup with the slightest dash of heat). It is Sambal.
Why? Asian food usually already has a ton of flavor and Siracha has a very distinct and strong flavor. If you put Siracha on Asian food you’re taking away from experiencing the true flavor of the dish. Sambal on the other hand, is just pure heat and acidity. The acidity also helps cut through the richness that is in a lot of Asian dishes.
Note: chili garlic sauce is different from Sambal. Similar taste, but as the name suggests, it has a lot of garlic taste in it, so you’ll run into the same problem as Siracha.
You got any recommendations for sambal? Want to grab some next week

This Huy Fong brand is p much the only one I’ve seen in stores
ginger goat and siracha. If you wanna know if a hot sauce is any good, check the ingredients. If the first ingredient isnt the pepper, then it’s diluted down with vinegar or water. The best hot sauces have the pepper listed first ingredient.

was getting groceries right before I saw this and grabbed some Melinda's because of it
Thought it would be a bit spicier and kind of wish it was but it does enough there and most importantly the flavor is great so I'm definitely rocking with it
Thank you for putting me on
