Speaking of accordion, have you seen Black Cat White Cat yet? Batshit crazy but insanely charming/borderline magical Roma romp. Put it on your programme.

That director has a lot of trademarks that he adds to most of his films and one of those is a person playing accordion in the background of like half the scenes lol. I don't want to overhype it but it's probably in my top three comedies now and most people that see it go;
country bangers
country rock/southern rock bangers
start of Little Feat's peak with 3 new members added. a few actually southern R&B guys for the rhythm section (bass+ congas) along with a great guitarist. Dixie Chicken album is a classic but still doesn't compare to the live stuff. these youtube quality seems ok but a bit worse than ones i have in my library. Dixie Chicken>Tripe Face Boogie is always crazy but every version improves on studio
nobody saw Chuck Berry and the Rolling Stones relentless run of catchy, clever rock and roll hits and understood the assignment better in the 70's
one of the last huge years of Krautrock and among the first to put remixes of their own songs on their albums
Also got this on vinyl the other day can't wait to listen

I wanna explore some early disco. Apparently Eddie Kendricks gets some credit too.

and the non-fusion side of jazz still going pretty strong mainly with spiritual/avant-garde/free. lot of the greats who came up in the 60s post-bop generation still putting out a lot of material. (although a lot of them like Wayne Shorter and Herbie fully embraced fusion instead)
