AG Cook touch is better
The 2nd New York Dolls album definitely ain’t touching the first and I think it kind of descends into generic blues rock stuff in the latter half (closing track great tho). Still it’s got some gems.
Everyone in the comments are saying this played a huge part in the grunge movement of the early 90s and I can definitely hear it.
Does the rest of the album sound similar?
I requested N**** in Paris the last time I was at my local club and felt ancient.

its chronological order starting from when he was like 20 years old in Buffalo Springfield
best way to appreciate his evolution

Yeah that one is alright
Yeah that one is alright
theres some outrageous tracks on there but chatterbox is the closest ive heard them come to what I think of as punk
What song do you think was Eno's greatest achievement this year @RVI @Aruji @Noir
tough. Tiger might be his best album (it's more consistently great even though it has it's flaws here and there). Third Uncle is quite revolutionary but I'm not sure if it's the best song on there. I really like Burning Airlines, Back in Judy's Jungle, Mother Whale Eyeless, The True Wheel and the title track a lot too.
Here Come The Warm Jets is a bit inconsistent even though I love it. On Some Faraway Beach is beautiful and probably the one that hits me the most albeit I think it's a tad too long and the horns are a bit overblown. Cindy Tells Me, Baby's On Fire, Some Of Them Are Old, Dead Finks Don't Talk and the title track are also highlights.
it changes between these songs.
settling in nicely isnt it
Floored me on first listen acually
ur welcome
