Rob me a nigga one of the greatest beats ever made
Made me stand up immediately first time I heard it
Randomly thought bout him earlier this week and saw he dropped an EP (some website exclusive) don’t know if it’s hitting streaming but could someone link me if they got it ?
dropping tonight on streaming
he was ranked up there with all of them he wasn’t put on this song for no reason

yeah everybody here needs to check his new EP out
he never lost it
Musically I agree with you. But the raw emotion in his voice, especially in his early releases, is something that gets a little lost in time... and to me that's a big part of the appeal on KRIT Wuz Here. Dude was rapping his heart out on every track
Live From The Underground was his major label debut
It didn't do the numbers people were hoping for
all classics. One of my favorite rappers in that era, catalog aged like wine. A huge factor in why he didn't get bigger than he did was how trap basically subsumed every southern rap style and then all of hip hop in the mid-2010s onward. The dirty south sound got wiped out unfortunately.

Agreed
bro was just so unlucky to be in the same generation as kendrick, drake, j cole, asap rocky, danny brown etc.

I always appreciate the fact that Danny never went obscure, he's shown love, bro is gifted
It's easy to look back on his tapes with so much love but dudes were dismissing him back in the day because of his sounds. Krit even had bars about why he would never really make it and dude was absolutely right.
I'll never forgive Def Jam for f***ing up his career. He was one of the most promising new rappers ever.
Back then I had ranked higher than Wale,. Kendrick , Cole, Drake, etc.
Krit Wuz Here
Return of 4eva
King Remembered in Time
4evanaday
All classics.
Yeah I remember the buzz he had on KTT at the time had me thinking he was gonna be the Kendrick of the south.
Crazy how label mismanagement can make or break even the most promising careers smh.
Regardless it’s still timeless
