I think you’re heavily overestimating how many people actually listen to pac. If you go on the street and ask people to name 20 pac songs they’re struggling.

u stay inside all day on ktt thats why you think that.
he was #60 most streamed all time across all genres last year.

    1. Wayne
    2. Ye
    3. Drake
    4. Dot
    5. Hov

    Only correct answer btw

Hov at 5 is insane especially considering how all 4 of them emulated him in some way to get where they are

And before you say Kendrick didn’t listen to Wanna be Heard and get back to me

    Rather hear a "Hennessy/enemy" bar

bro if you don't sit yo ass down somewhere

If YOU personally like Pac MUSIC better than Wayne MUSIC (Which is not a bad take at all) that's perfectly fine

But don't try to convince all of KTT that Pac is a better RAPPER than Wayne with this weak ass argument bruh

Wayne def has some cringe worthy one liners I'll give you that but that doesn't take away from his skillset as a rapper overall. Lil Wayne's flows, wordplay & rhyme schemes are far beyond anything Pac was even thinking about doing in his time

You letting your emotions cloud your judgment brother

Now if we talking who has best subject matter/song concepts n such yeah its Pac by a mile

Let's stop blerting out idiocy and clarify what we talking about

nigga im talking about rap artist and all you did was talk about "Lyrical miracle" bars from wayne when 90% of the s*** he rhymes are braindead bars that get lean addicted white kids hyped.
As a lyricist Wayne aint that good when you collect some of his best "lines".
Pac was at least good in his own lane and had really good mic presence, versatility, explored more subject matter than Wayne has ever did in the 30 years hes been rapping.
Like if we strictly talk about hits Pac is at least competing and hes been dead for almost 30 years and only rapped for 5. That alone says a lot.

“Alot of 90s rappers were doing a variation of what Pac was doing equally good or better.“ lol na the pac disrespect around here has gotten out of control 😆

Wayne, Ye, Drake etc.. are influential—but they can’t be more influential than the OGs/pioneers. It’s just impossible. Just like no producer who changes the sound of rap for the next 10 years will be as influential as Grandmaster Flash. Only rappers that can argue are more influential than Pac are guys like Rakim. The ones who laid the foundation and influenced him(Pac). Can’t be more influential than the one who influenced the current influencers lol. Especially pac, who’s influenced not just rappers but artist from a ton of other genres world wide.

This way of thinking is asinine though. The originators aren’t de facto most influential just because they came first. Influence and inspiration evolves and progresses as time passes.

That’s like saying an artist like Yeat was influenced by Tupac, because Tupac influenced Wayne who influenced Future who influenced Thug who influenced Carti who influenced Yeat.

    Just asinine

Alot of 90s rappers were doing a variation of what Pac was doing equally good or better. Wayne changed the form in a way nobody else could have. Increased the possibilities for creative expression dramatically.

And I'm old head enough to have been like "Lil Wayne from Back That Azz Up?" when he started really popping again in 2005/6. Couldn't believe my ears by 2007.

"increased the possibilities for creative expression" LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Wayne birthed some of the most woat artists of all time.

Wayne had the easiest run of all time with abysmal competition and niggas playing safe not wanting to clash and just doing records with each other.
Looking bad he wasn't the impressive fr fr.

Im smoking d*** by saying the internationally beloved icon, consensus top 2 or 3 greatest rapper ever 2pac would beat Wayne in a versuz? make it make sense lol

Bro people internationally love Pac for the image. Pac is like the token rapper that foreign people know just by name aside from snoop and 50 cent. Pac's music is not being played internationally like that. Wayne is 100% more influential and has more memorable hits. Be fr

If I influenced millions on top of millions, including you— how could you be more influential than me? No matter how many you influence—the one behind you always has more reach. If this was just some 90s rapper I’d entertain the debate…but this is Pac man lol dude is the reason a lot of people around the world fell in love with rap. Even Wayne’s tattoos can be traced to a pac influence lmao

Every rapper after Pac has to take something from pac be it delivery, aesthetics, song topics etc.. rakim, public enemy, cube etc.. set the foundation and everyone after had to follow a variation of what they did. Same with pac. Same with Wayne. Difference is pac has double the years of influence—and influenced Wayne himself lol
