U ever been to the Netherlands or know people there?
Besides having family there etc on most fronts most people would choose for the Netherlands especially if you're not white
Infrastructure etc just objectively better and culturally Germany a lot more white i mean they the OG Nazis too yk

Not much interests me about the Netherlands.
Again, I'm not worried about racists cause I'm literally from the country that breeds them and inspired Nazi Germany in the first place.

Whats trash about it
We have high taxes, but our infrastructure sucks. It used to be better in the 1990s and such, and I really think Germany is living off its reputation of its glory days in the 80s and 90s.
We had the same chancellor (president) for 16 years and the entire country stood still. S*** is broken all the time but nobody here complains like they would in France.
Our trains are from the 1990s, our hospitals are overfilled and get closed, the economy sucks balls right now, they also are sanctioning Russia who supplies all our gas which makes electricity super expensive. Our roads are all bumpy and s***. Construction takes forever because tradesmen really have a racket here for historical reasons. My old school has been renovating for damn near 7 years now lmao.
The people are not open-minded and can be very racist, also impolite. If you live in a rural area, the entire culture is just drinking yourself to death, not much to do out there.
I used to live in South Carolina and the people there were much friendlier, especially Latinos and black folks I was around. The restaurants were better in the USA tbh.
The only thing that's better here is I don't have any college debt, my healthcare is much cheaper and safer, and you have a good welfare net so you don't ever gotta worry about being unemployed and stuff like that. Also lower crime and no risk of randomly getting shot. And cops are less violent here (still pigs though). The labor laws are better here as well as the tenant laws. Plus I don't have to use a car to get around, which is less stressful and cheaper.
Maybe living in Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich, Hamburg or Cologne would be OK, but other countries haven't spent the past 2 decades in a standstill and kept investing into their infrastructure.
The highs in the USA are higher, but the lows are lower. Germany is a safe, boring, middle path. Basically, you are trading excitement and fun for security and stability.
@02Shaq Also all stores are closed on Sunday and stores close super early on weekdays too, like 8 PM sometimes, so it's very hard if you're coming home late from work I know some people have to go grocery shopping during their lunch break
I came to germany and there was no air conditioning in trains lmfao
i was JUST talking about this with friends last night
there is currently a ticket sale going on which basically allows you to travel all the way around germany for 9€ a month
now lemme show u a picture of how my city’s main train station looked like (keep in mind there’s no AC anywhere)
