@02Shaq Also all stores are closed on Sunday and stores close super early on weekdays too, like 8 PM sometimes, so it's very hard if you're coming home late from work
I know some people have to go grocery shopping during their lunch break
Is there some historical reasoning for that? That s*** seems crazy lol
F***ing Panama has quicker Internet than Germany statistically speaking
it took 2 months for my internet to get to my new apartment, had to switch services and buy a s***ty ass wifi box that i’ll have to pay for 2 years now cause they got my ass in a contract
i was JUST talking about this with friends last night
there is currently a ticket sale going on which basically allows you to travel all the way around germany for 9€ a month
now lemme show u a picture of how my city’s main train station looked like (keep in mind there’s no AC anywhere)

My friend told me they had to wait for the next train after waiting 1h because it was too full
My other friend told me the train stopped in another city because it was too full and she had to figure out how the f*** to get home
They organized this 9 Euro Ticket in the last second, German bureaucracy is f***ing trash. They still ain't decide how to give university students their money back for their semester tickets. Typical Germany s***, no organization. Germans just do bureaucracy for the sake of it but still can't get s*** together. You gotta fill out a million forms and they still get it wrong.
Can’t speak on japan but experienced this twice in korea within two weeks of being there.
Korea is totally different.
They barely been integrating with other races only in the last decade or so.
Japan especially in the major parts is easy & welcoming to any race, only a few places dislike foreigners (not just black people).
I came to germany and there was no air conditioning in trains lmfao
when i first went to germany the train system being so insanely bad blew my mind
i was like hol up these are the people making fun of infrastructure in the US?
much of the US train system here (esp in the NE) blows that out of the water (and believe me this is NOT saying much about the train system in the US)

facts
Im in shock and disbelief reading this thread
My german friend keeps talking about how great germany is and how the infrastructure is amazing and s***
Wtf??

Basically Closed On Sunday, You My Chic-Fil-A
It's for religious reasons and nowadays they say it protects retail workers from being overworked
When in reality, the retail workers just have to work harder Saturday night when everybody rushes to the store. The worst is when you get a holiday on Monday (like it'll be this week), then people go savage on Saturdays because the stores are closed 2 week, u got mfers fighting over toilet paper and noodles and s***
German kaks act like they will starve all the time
My homies are mostly foreigners btw. I had two very close German friends, one of em was an aristocrat, but they betrayed me. The foreigners here are cool. I also prefer dating foreigner chicks, not German ones.

I think i'll pass
I think u in the wrong thread friend lol
I am, but on the topic of this thread, everywhere is meh for black people.

It's also because of Germany's insane federal system that the USA commanded us to get after WW2 because they were scared of a new Nazi Germany.
Germany has like 15 train systems for each region, some of em run their stuff well, some don't. Germans f***ing love federalism. In the early days of the pandemic, every city-doctor (an official) could decide on their own how to react to the virus. Mine was saying coronavirus is just a flu. The central government didn't even do s*** for a few months because they didn't have the power to do so.

Federalism moment
Federalism moment
They brainwash us law students into simping for federalsim too
They act like centralism = fascism when most countries in the world are centralist except USA, India and Brazil (three countries much huger than f***ing Germany, which is smaller than South Dakota I believe)

Honestly lol I'm just going somewhere I know people in. Also helps that I been learning German for two years so I'd at least be able to get around comfortably. Jobs available in my field is also a bonus.

Yeah germans have no right to speak tbh lmao
Infrastructure might not be as car dependent but that's it
Made me appreciate these metris over here a lot more
Damn I was under impression that Germany had their s*** together
That's what they want you to believe so you come here and work for em
