Shoutout to all the Black fathers today. Whether that child is your seed, or you were man enough to step up and raise some children as if they came from you.

Stevie Wonder
!https://youtu.be/x5v-gZrEhUw?t=113!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BI4sC5hidUg!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eagQKwVendAI'm sure by now we've learned of the origins of hip-hop music. But take a deeper dive into hip-hop's roots in the Caribbean, Jamaica to be exact. West Indian culture was a major influence on not just hip-hop music, but hip-hop culture as well such as dancing, graffiti. The documentary also covers Dominican and Puerto Rican culture that has been ingrained into hip-hop which led to the birth of Reggaeton.
It's not even just about how great the dance routine was, but the band had to be so on point too. An unrehearsed first take? S*** that's a freestyle.
Someone needs to just make a thread where we post a different Stevie song everyday. Dude was that prolific
With Black Music Month coming to an end, I wanna leave y'all with one last post. Questlove's documentary/film Summer of Soul releases July 2nd. The film is about the Harlem Cultural Celebration in the summer of 1969. The Harlem Cultural Celebration was naturally a celebration of Black culture, music, dance, art, and fashion. If you have been in this thread I really hope you take the time to watch the documentary! It features music from legendary artists that have likely been posted frequently within this thread! Will certainly be well worth the watch, and if you're still somehow unsure...here's a Juneteenth Celebration Concert that will give you an idea of what the Harlem Cultural Celebration was all about
Some brief background on the Harlem Cultural Celebration
And here is a trailer for the film itself

We wouldn't be here if it wasn't for Our Creator. There is no doubt that we're the Israelites, Covid is a plague that similar to the ones of Egypt. This decade will be a trial of our faith, as long as we stick with The Most High, have faith in Christ, we will be safe & comforted.
