every time a barber does this i hit them with the "oh s*** i left my wallet in the car" and never return.

How many barbers you dip on because of this

    Dio really that evil

Have any of you tried this? I'll either do this or just cut it all off and go with a low cut fade. Right now I have a high top, but not quite long enough to twist neatly

"Type 4: Moisturize daily to avoid breakage."

    1. shea butter, lavish curls moisturizer, creme of nature argan oil

    2. for shorter hair you don't need to use leave in conditioner. that's more important for longer hair/curls

    3. My go to's are cantu and garnier sleek and shine. everyone's hair reacts differently so what works for me may not work for you

4/5. Yeah you should wash your hair even if it's short. Just not as often as someone with longer hair would. I haven't had short hair in years so I'd look up some other sources on how often to wash tho

    6. Yes. this promotes healthy hair growth and helps to maintain it

again not every product or method is gonna work for you so you need to experiment and find what your hair likes.

ok. this is making more sense.
So for someone like me I don't need leave-in-conditioner.
    1. So basically all I need is to shampoo my hair no more than twice a week and use moisturizers to keep my hair healthy?
I understand that moisturizers keep your hair from drying since 4c is the driest.
And you recommended shea butter, lavish curls moisturizer, and creme of nature argan oil.
    2. Is castor oil and avacado oil in the same category as shea butter, lavish curls moisturizer, and creme of nature argan oil? I can't imagine someone with long hair applying jamican castor oil all over their hair. It's so thick.

    1. Yeah bro exactly. Shorter hair is a lot easier to maintain.
    2. Those are the products I have personally use and got good results from. for shorter hair i think the creme of nature argan oil would be perfect but castor or avacado oil should work just as fine.

and yeah i feel you on that. that's why people with longer hair use conditioners more cause it's easier. Tho I have seen people use oil on longer hair it's not sumn i do

Link a video if you find a good one. I always just tied it whatever way I could get to stay on my head. Used to get into Ubers and get asked if I was wearing a turban

the one you sent me can be used more often than castor oil cause it's not as heavy. if you use castor oil daily that's a bit excessive imo, but it also depends on how much hair you have as well as how your hair reacts to it. (ie: if it drys within a day some may put more the following day.) this goes for any product tho.

theres not really a time constraint on when you should use these products. whenever your hair is dry, or if you want to keep your hair moisturized/maintained, use it

don't overdue it tho, moderation is key brotha
