You can def still do it with that hair but tbh it’s kinda better if you start the process when ur hair is completely short...I’m assuming ur just going for waves on the top and not 360?

Either way you wanna brush ur hair like this:

At first applying pomade to ur hair is the best option because as ur hair grows, you’ll want it to be laying down to form that wave pattern. Also invest in a wave cap....what I do is I’ll do that brush pattern in the shower (not everyday) and then apply the wave cap to my hair until it’s dry (should use it after each shower)

You also wanna get a hair cream that enchances curls, I’m currently using “Shea Butter Curl Enchancing Smoothie” and it works wonder! Invest in a durag too and wear that all the time before you sleep

But remember that brushing is the most important part of forming waves, they take like 8/9 weeks on average to fully form so if you want quicker progress, you gotta brush at every opportunity (don’t brush too much while ur hair is dry tho cos it’s bad for the scalp but it’s fine if there’s product in ur hair)

Think that’s it really. Anything else lmk!

I might go for the 360 honestly, might take longer to get on the sides but it'll be worth it lol. Imma get a cut this week and maintain it until last week of December and let you know the results.

not what you'll wanna hear, but pretty sure you gotta just keep it healthy and hydrated. that's the fastest way, and then just let it happen

Just twist your hair in your free time or use a racket, but don't use the racket too often, it can cause breakage
The sponge is trash, believe me
