Same.. I mean, I prefer my curly hair over straight hair but I would love to have my father's hair type.

for sure for sure ty! i used to rock with coconut oil until i started skating.. now when i sweat it solidifies all over my face, be having me looking bukkaked
I've had that issue with coconut oil and some gels. I sweat a lot, so s*** be running down my face. I live in the PNW too, so it's mad rainy and I've been caught without a hat or hood and then I got product running into my eyes and mouth.

i didnt use face cream for years cuz of this reason, id sweat all year even winter. after losing weight i started using face moisturizer again cuz i sweat much less now. my forehead is still always shiny tho
Got it. So just applying a good leave in conditioner regularly will make my hair soft?
Everyones hair is a bit different, using leave in daily is a good starting point to keep your hair moisturised.
You should definitely experiment after a while with different products and methods to see what works best for your hair. Good luck!
Anyone know any good cheap leave in conditioner a that get the job done (makes hair soft, moisturise etc)

do y'all have any tips for shaving?
I never use razor blades with my hair type because they just give me ingrown hairs
I've tried the WAHL and it just doesn't get a close enough shave
Though, anytime my barber does it for me he does uses a wahl but also uses clippers in conjunction
So I guess I'm just trying to figure out which clippers to get? I'll prolly ask him next time I go, and also buy a wahl or andis with it again
you have locs? i worry about build ups with gels
In ur whole lifetime of maintaining your dreads, what did you do about your hairline?
This my 2nd time having dreads and I still wasnβt thinking properly to get the tapered hairline this time around. So my dreads start at the base of my hairline and i tend to do a ponytail or 3 braids just because itβs so low maintenance. But one of my friends that used to have braids is telling me Iβm gonna end up with a receding hairline. I was always super cautious about this but him saying that got me even more nervous. Should I attempt to undo my hairline dreads and get a tapered hairline or am I overthinking this?

i personally think sharp right angle ass hairlines and fades look really bad so i never have done anything to my hairline
also my locs are freeform so there is no pulling on the roots that one would result in a receding hairline

So what do oils do for our hair?
So washing my hair everyday and conditioning is bad? I have 4c type hair
Also, any suggestions for brushes, combs, hair picks, etc to get Lamelo/Bronny type hair?
i washed and conditioned my hair every day and now my scalp is kinda f***ed so i definitely do not recommend that
I've been noticing changes in my hair I started to find hair (4b this time) that doesn't match with my actually hairtype (3c) I'm going trough the last chapters of my puberty, should I be worried about this change
