good timing on this discussion tho because I'm trying to grow my hair back Like I mentioned in the OP though I lost progress at some point + I trimmed my hair down a bit at another point prior. I do think my hair still could've been longer, and yes I slept with my durag on
I took decent care of my hair but I think I could have been better. Doesn't help that my hair doesn't grow very fast. Any tips?

WATER!!!!!!That should do it tbh. Keeping your hair in braids helps it grow.

I also used to get a lot of razor bumps.
I've been using Conditioning Beard Oil (Pre shave) and Ingrown Hair Treatment (after shave balm) by Anthony and I haven't had any issues since.

i used clips a month ago but half of my dreads unraveled again. today i started over retwisting with crochet hooks, and im already getting better results

Yeah crochet hook should definitely last longer than clips I just need to get somebody to twist me up

just do a couple rows of hair everyday and in no time u’ll be done. u dont have to do it all at once. (im not paying anybody to do it either) @lorddell

Been thinking about ditching my waves for the winter time and growing my hair into twists or curls til like March. I’m in a wolf period right now so maybe I can use a sponge in a couple weeks. It’s been years since I f***ed with twists, i gotta learn how to get started all over again.
