anyone here with 3b/curly hair that get their hair braided/twisted? i tried to get twists that resemble this

but it came out looking awful, the twists were just way too thin. is it possible with our hair texture to get twists with some thickness?

I cut split ends every so often, but i havent gotten a cut since 2019

More like going on 3+. But imo i like where im at now than where i was before with an undercut. I was self conscious, but people said i looked good before too. Now i get compliments a few times a month, which is nice

I like to braid my hair now that its long enough, mostly to protect it cuz its kind of fine and prone to damage. So ill do something like this:

Or just two braids down the sides of my head

Otherwise ill keep it as is, or do a semi manbun when i workout, or tuck it behind my ears

nope been rocking straight backs for the last month. I gave up tbh i don't think twists are in the cards for my hair texture.
