Think I disagree. Haven't heard tip but this is as good or better than burden of proof, haven't decided yet

first listen, project is pretty good. it's lacking that Black Thought consistency that I appreciate though. I'm Not Crazy - State Prisoner - Good Morning was SO DAMN GOOD, but Quiet Trip and Nature of the Beast were... not very good.

there were a couple boring beats (Thought Vs. Everybody, Magnificent) but also some cool ones too (Fuel, State Prisoner).

overall, decent but I thought this was gonna be Black Thought's homerun EP. might need a couple more listens.

portugal the man features were also very iffy in a couple parts. I don't think they mesh that well.

Magnificent, thought vs everybody, quiet trip are fire to me

i think his rapping on magnificent and thought vs everybody is A+, but imo the production is lacking. quiet trip is just not working for me, but I might warm up to it after a couple more listens

State prisoner was so hard until the beat changed . That first half was insane

i actually liked the 2nd beat better ha. both dope though

its the only portugal the man song i like on here, but they work really well on that beat. one of my favorite songs on this

better than the first one to me...2nd one had some real dope tracks on it though...this definitely the most "album" sounding of the EP's but a lil too much sing songy stuff for me...when it's just Black Thought and features dropping bars this s*** is lit
