i hate to say this as much as i have loved his last 2 volumes, and his recent features, but this album is just okay... there's some stand outs like good morning, quiet trip, and steak ums, but there isn't too much im getting out of this. 6 or 7/10 for me which is sad to say

Just filled with terrible bars that just literally confront hot topics. The FEMA s***, the #MeToo s***, the social media is making everybody bad s***. It's really tricky to approach this stuff and not sound dumb or corny. First time I've ever found Black Thought either. I was hoping it was just on Black Thought vs Everybody but it's all over this record. Breaks my heart.

black thoughts rhyme schemes and internal rhymes are so impressive.

couldve done without the social media bars but what was wrong about the me too line.

i just seen it as a shot at the president and his sexual assault allegations.

also what was wrong with the fema bar. its dope to see rappers support the dreamers.

What a boring, generic set of beats. Not a memorable one among them.

And Black Thought is a mixed bag on this, definitely hampered by some lazy and poorly executed conscious lines.

Weird, poppy track 'Nature of the Beast' being a chore to get through especially.
