I don’t have that complaint I feel like those people are kinda bugging

My complaint would be he doesn’t use drums as much as he used to but I’m mostly basing that off Bandana, I preferred Pinata

I like both of the Gibbs albums but I really don't understand ppl who say Bandana is THAT MUCH BETTER than Pinata...IMO they're pretty close...Bandana beats are more up Gibbs alley but Pinata got a few more standout tracks IMO

Yeah I swear those people are just listening with the iPad thing in mind and kind of projecting that onto the music in a sense. If anything Bandana is way rawer than Pinata and most of his old stuff, it’s almost too raw for me i dig it but I prefer Madlib’s older sound over the super stripped down drumless stuff. That said I get why hes going in that direction

i think s*** like massage seats was very hit or miss with folks i loved it tho that s*** sounded so raw and primal

I felt like Bandana was a dope change of pace but I actually felt like Gibbs flow fit the Pinata beats more, yeah I like that album a good deal more personally
