There wasn’t much more stronger he needed to go from there to be the best option the Gotei had

The only thing that’s tough with Bleach is that generally, these giant power ups lead to someone being negged pretty quickly, so it can be hard to really know how close one guy is to the next in power scaling

Like you can make the argument that Yhwach surprised Ichi and let his guard down, you can say he was just that much stronger, or you can say that since Almighty allows him to operate in his own time space, Ichibei couldn’t defend himself even if he wanted to

Im not even mad at thinking the fight sucks in terms of actual fighting...theres alot of fights in the written form of TYBW which are not "storyboarded" (I think that's what dudes call it) well. I didn't think one created to just add some extra time before the climax of the episode was going to be generational
