I feel like we get a mini cour 4 if they’re going to be adding THIS much content. Like Yhwach does the thing in one chapter iirc. I think they may have gave Jushiro one or two chapters leading up into it. It may take him up until the very end of next episode to do it. That’s 3 whole episodes

There’s a good stretch after this that I don’t think they’ll have to pad out too much if they don’t want to but I wouldn’t be surprised if we got a lot more Ryuken and Isshin. Plus they’re seemingly layering in Haschwaltz’s distrust of Uryu

Maybe an actual Aizen and Urahara convo. Urahara has been the narrator of things that no one else should know about with Reio. Makes sense that they talk if Aizen gets added dialogue. I think he only talks with Renji and Rukia in the upcoming scenes iirc

This adaptation is doing a 100000x better job of showing why this dude even matters in the scope of the arc. Obv doing a lot more than that but you could’ve read the arc and thought the only value the man had was to do the thing

That was also new anime content but hella fans wanted more out of the people who traveled to the SP with Ichigo (they literally do nothing except chat with Ichigo a few times iirc), so…I guess they had to fight the strongest enemies in the history of the series lol

Chad and Orihime eating shots from Schutzstaffel (keeping in mind that they did have guard up and the SS were just toying) may be their most impressive feats tbh

I assume this means that the participants in the final battles will be largely the same. That would've been where I would think you'd get a shot to insert these guys in more, but they weren't really seen again until the HoS Ichigo vs Yhwach fight

I personally appreciate they got more lines and moments even though the fighting part is absolutely ridiculous logically speaking lol. I envision a final arc for a long running anime to pay some homage to the guys the MC valued most, even though it's hard as F*** to do without shoehorning. Naruto did an solid job at calling back to the OGs, but it mainly just left to the anime to pad out, kinda like this
