I know how OP looks based on his opinion.
You thinking middle part hairstyle or no?
Ima take the bait, i know this threads full of trolls but anyone seriously pretending that Blonde/TLOP were more significant than Views are legit f***ing ed
Two of the biggest, DEFINING songs of the decade. Hotline Bling spawned memes still used to this day. Cover is iconic. One Dance is still one of the most popular club hits, Controlla up there as well. Sold a milli first week. Stretches across various genres, theres s*** for everyone. Drake dominated 2016 like no other rapper in history. Views is still heavily bumped to this day, way more than TLOP and Blonde. You guys need to take off the drake hating goggles and stop being delusional, its mad corny.
You know the world is bigger than forums and twitter, right? Go outside and ask people which album they prefer/are most familiar with out of Views, TLOP, and Blonde. I can assure you Views is winning more than half the time.
They bouta post your avi
Also everything you said was real s***

delusional but cute
no one f***ing cares about hotline bling no more
you don't understand the difference between a rowdy rich / lil pump year hit with cultural shifting albums like Blonde and TLOP
hotline bling is just a year hit, no one cares about that no more, it is frugal
You thinking middle part hairstyle or no?
Possibly not right now, but in the past tho
Hotline bling is one of the most popular songs of the decade.
Views as an album idk if it will age the same but songs like Controlla, One Dance, and Feel No Ways still get spins and ppl go back to it.
Born To Die seems like the most appropriate example for the thread's title, idk about the others.
I saw posts saying TPAB and BEYONCÉ. Those too.
Agree on everything you said here
Also set up Post Malone’s supeom was the first Frank thing we heard in a minute and set the stage for Blonde put Sampha on etc etc
how did you go 0 for 3 like this and it went completely unnoticed? lmaooo
Frank didn't ship the s*** out like he was supposed to, fine, but we're not gonna rewrite history and pretend like that album wasn't a huge deal in alternative and underground circles. Basically every bedroom pop act was impacted by it.

I’ll include Views too. I personally think IYRTNITL was more culturally significant whereas Views was more wide-reaching/ popular (i know it seems like there’s no distinction between the two but there is I just can’t explain it)
But Views definitely was huge and impacting

😂😂😂
I’d go as far as saying TLOP is one of the most paradigm shifting albums of all time.
Everyone still biting the 2016 Ye aesthetic to this day
Ban this terrible troll
How am I trolling. These are two massively popular albums and I’m giving my opinion. You can tell me what you think is more influential instead and we can discuss.
It’s not like I said anything outrageous or unheard of
Still MBDTF. S*** put the world on notice. Showed the world the peak that Hip-Hop and music can get to. High art s***. Ye went from most hated to the most celebrated over night. College Football Players still comin out to Power 10 years later. Got the best out of every feature. A level of focused collaboration we had never seen before.
I think MBDTF is the best album of the decade and musically the most inspiring but I feel like I only see internet music heads and critics praise it like it deserves. I’ve literally heard no one irl who isn’t a Ye stan talk about it though.

Blonde’s cultural significance (if it even has any) has 0 to do with the quality of music. It’s about how he finessed the music industry.
