Spear is just the Saw Cleaver with a slightly different moveset and scales with Dex instead of Strength
Yeah but IMO it has a better moveset and I think better reach when transformed

It's more stabby while the cleaver just hacks away yeah
Saw Cleaver's my favorite though along with Maria's weapon and the Pizza Cutter

Chikage with bloodtinge gems >>>
Always loved my arcane build too, boomhammer with fire gems for beasts and tonitrus for ayylmaos
Had a strength build for the pizza cutter and it’s GOATED too but tbh I’m not a fan of str weapons in bloodborne overall

Dont think Ive ever leveled Arcane in Bloodborne
Probably should the next time I play it. Try something new.

The tonitrus is so fun it's unbelievable, helped me a lot with Ebrietas, who's probably my most memorable boss encounter of the series, definitely the hardest in Bloodborne for me

Lighting the boom hammer 🤝 lighting the tonitrus
It’s like crack I’m just constantly lighting them as I run around
That’s a great boss very cinematic it’s peak ayylmao
My most recent play through of this was so weird because when my very first run in 2015 Father was f***ing me up but I dropped his ass like he was nothing. Meanwhile my first run I destroyed Vicar Amelia but this time around she completely f***ed me 😭
Old hunters still one of the best DLC ever
Finally got my PS4 fixed but I'm terrified to play this game again. Been playing Multiversus, Fortnite and f***ing Far Cry 5 because I'm avoiding Orphan of Kos and whichever chalice I'm stuck in against Blood Starved Beast I just don't think I can ever make it past them

Summon help bro no shame in it. Your build might not be optimized too

I don't have PS Plus So summoning and glyphs not an option for me. I just have to git gud
Going to finish up Far Cry 5 so I can get it tf off my hard drive, it actually irks me having that much storage wasted on such a piece of s*** game. Then Ima give Bloodborne another shot

Damn bro yeah I guess my only recommendation for OoK is spam parry.
Blood starved beast just use serrated weapons and fire papers
Man, I feel like I'm usually okay at piecing together the story in FS games and getting a rough idea of what's going on but I'm so lost
I killed Rom yesterday and it looks like whole world's been turned upside down and I understand even less
I know the lore videos for this gonna go crazy

Experiencing the story of this game for the first time was one of the greatest gaming experiences I've ever had, can confirm it has incredible lore but you gotta save it for after you finish
Finished the game today. Got Micolash on the 2nd try, Mergo's Wet Nurse on the 1st and Gehrman on the 3rd. Idk how to check hours on PS4 but I beat most bosses on my 1st or 2nd try so it didn't really take me all that long to finish.
I got the Honoring Wishes ending. I had the umbilical cords for the secret ending but I didn't know you were supposed to eat them, so I missed the ending
I can see why this is a lot of people's favorite game in the soulsborne series. The atmosphere is really unmatched the combat is great, especially when you fight other humans/humanoids.
I didn't really do any of the chalices except for the first one. It was okay. RNG dungeons really aren't my thing so I kinda ignored them.
Not a fan of how the game forces you into a NG+ cycle cause I would've liked to get the bosses I missed but it's not a major deal. Kinda annoying that my first run through of the DLC will be on NG+ though.

Probably will have a better time doing the DLC on NG+ tbh. If you're coming from Elden Ring like me, I kinda found the bosses to be a lil too easy. Granted I had got my weapons to 10+, and had great gems for them. Mechanically I didn't really struggle with any of the bosses. Hardest boss for me to beat was The Cainhurst Hunter, and Martyr Logarius. Every other boss didn't really take me more than 2-3 tries if I didn't get them on the first try.

Is the Cainhurst Hunter the npc you need to kill in Eileen's quest? That dude f***ed me up so many times. I got stuck on him for like 2 and a half hours I ran out of blood vials and hard to farm for souls and vials lmao

I'd just start a new character to tackle the secret ending, chalices and DLC tbh. I know the DLC on NG+ difficulty would make me rip my hair out
fighting Logarius at BL4 is quite the battle
Why’re you doing that to yourself that mfer tough even at BL4
Why’re you doing that to yourself that mfer tough even at BL4
man dude i started a BL4 run to see where my skills at cause my first playthrough i breezed thru him, didnt even know he could plant a sword down and have them do performance arts
After trying to do the DLC for the first time on NG+, I decided to just start a fresh character, get all the base game bosses, secret ending and do the DLC, I just finished doing all that.
My first run took me almost 20 hours with maybe a little over an hour in the dlc getting f***ed up by Ludwig.
My 2nd run on a fresh character took only 16 hours but I also spent like 1.5 hours farming for upgrade materials so it was really only ~14 hours.
The toughest bosses for me for Ebrietas and Laurence. I think I fought Ebrietas way too early so I just kept getting destroyed. After maybe 10 or so attempts I left to go do other stuff and came back later and beat her on the 2nd try. I think Laurence took me 5 or 6 tries? I just couldn't get the timing on his moves. Every other boss I beat on the 1st or 2nd try.
I loved Lady Maria's fight The boss room was really basic but the human vs human combat in this game is perfect. There's just something about the way you both glide across the screen while rolling and backstepping to dodge each other's attacks while getting in your own attacks in between rolls or backsteps. The motion and fluidity is really something special.
I beat Orphan of Kos on the 2nd try, yeah this is probably the best fight they've done This fight was so fast paced and aggressive but also really fair. It was like controlled chaos. There were all out blitz moments but then calmer moments where it felt like we were both sorta resetting for the next moment of chaos. Very cinematic.
Maybe it's because I'm coming off of beating Elden Ring, DS1 and on my 2nd run (so I'm in the souls mindset) but I didn't think Orphan of Kos was as brutally hard as everyone made him out to be. Like I said, it felt like a very controlled fight. His moves were pretty telegraphed and he didn't hit very hard either. It could just be at the time when he came out he was really hard but as everyone has gotten better at these games, he's gotten easier while maintaining the mystique of being one of the toughest bosses, idk.
I also beat Moon Presence on the 1st try. I don't have a whole lot to say about the fight besides that I went into it with only 4 vials so I wasn't expecting to beat it. A cool fight and an awesome design but overall pretty easy.
