EinfinetIt’s not even about valuing music over lyrics. They are both a part of the package. Dylan might be more exceptional as a poet than as a songwriter, but he still has consistently great sounding songs. At least for me, I don’t just go for him for lyrics even tho that’s the main seller- it’s about the whole atmosphere he brings
Idg how people itt are saying that you listen to dylan for the lyrics and not the music when dylan’s blend of folk and rock was literally revolutionary
