this is a cop out show me a correlation

You playing dumb. How about you start with d*** use

  • Maga Law

    That's the truth

    It's not. At all.

Economic politics rein supreme here, but I know and seen first hand, glorifying street s*** with music does not help the black community.

It may not harm it to a tangible degree, but it certainly isn't helpful. It's not like they're rapping about the ills of their community, they are glorifying spinning the block and putting opps 6 feet deep. That's not helpful.

Niggas are making music about opps that they kill, opps that they know got killed, how they spin the block,

and are real life gang members and s***.

To act like Music is completely harmless in this scenario makes no sense. Come on y'all.

That's the product of the environment they was raised in

Like y'all can be this stupid

Not every black person is from the hood and streets

By what you saying is that that music is effecting those kids

    Not even close

  • I'll give you 1 response to this bait op

There's been countless studies that violent people are attracted to violent things. Violent games, movies or music don't cause violence on their own, it has to come from within so these kids you see shooting and s*** would have found any excuse to do that but just happened to like hip-hop. Hip-hop is the most streamed genre in the world but what you see is only a small fraction of a small community compared to the entire population but the media makes it look worse than it is because they have to be dramatic for views and clicks.

I don't know why yall entertain this bullshit thread

  • Jun 16, 2021

Nigga they could be wearing suits and fedoras blasting jazz music and would still be killing each other in the hood

the point is that you’re blaming something that has minuscule influence

You really think rap has miniscule influence? Cmon man stop this

Theres a reason Andre 3k said that chiraq music was devilish

    That’s a general statement

What about our ancestors that practiced voodoo, huduo, urba and voudoon

All spiritual practices that Europeans classify as devilish

Not to mention anything and everything in the Bible that is “dark” is bad and is “light” is good.

Who made Andre the arbiter of this information?

if that song doesn’t come out is that person opps still dead?

    Maybe. Maybe not.

The argument for me is not that Rap Music is entirely destructive.

It's that it doesn't help this part of the black community. Seeing guys toting their glocks in videos does not help violence within the black community.

Needs to be censored imo thats a star

    A big disclaimer

*This rap s*** isnt real nigga s*** you will die or end up in jail if you do this s****

    before every video imo

I feel like you are disregarding the many black and brown children who choose a different path but grow up on the same things

At the end of the day music is an outlet and the content spoken is a symptom of a larger issue. Theres a lot of cogs in this machine and to hyper focus on one doesnt change anything, censorship or not. Youre telling people that the lives they live are too rough and need to be watered down to… what? So kids can look up the lyrics themselves? This ain the 90s no more man.

There’s far greater problems to tackle than rap music. Does it play a part in certain things? Yes but a lot of these issues would exist and has existed pre rap.

Not instantly, maybe not even within 5 years, but over time it would.

I disagree because it will show up in any form of media that a person can express themselves.

Hiding something away doesnt mean the problem is fixed
