I was expecting they'd speak on the tech and its influence in the classroom, wonder if they also talk about the spirituality/religious aspect too?

Yeah there’s a chapter on the subjects too where they discuss religious education, geography etc

Chapter 5 of Black Skin, White Masks has to be one of the most engrossing chapters of literature I've ever read. I reread it like ten times.

I'm getting a Kindle soon. Recommend me some books please. I've hardly read anything, I've read 1984 when I was a kid and I loved it. I'm currently reading the stand and I like it too. I like history books or books about people, science fiction, dystopian novels. P open to anything really I think I will be reading a lot soon so I can use the recommendations.

What a conclusion. Black Skin, White Masks is definitely one of my top books this year, and might be one of my favorite nonfiction books OAT.

I'm still a little confused by the concept of "The Other". I understand that it's the transformation/perception of the colonized being as being regarded nonhuman, but he kinda loses me when he brings up the Ego in Chapter 7.

Just how slow paced is the book (Dune)?

I would say a quarter of it. beginning is kind of slow cause your introduced to different families and factions.

I'm halfway-ish into 1984 and it's great, but I have no motivation to finish it

need to finish all my assignments and get back on track with reading
