I'm kinda pushing through it at this point. reading the 3 books straight is a bit tiring and I'm ready to move on lol. that's always been my problem with fantasy series tbh
gotta finish LOTR soon so I can read the new George Saunders and Cormac McCarthy books dropping this month
Attention span is way down the toilet
Same lol I blasted Wind Up Bird Chronicle by Murakami in like a week and thats like 600 pages and now I can't pick up a book

A lot of people claiming its one off the most difficult books to read.

I have a rough time actually reading translated books. I'm super interested in Rumi but knowing there can be so much lost in translation feels like it takes away from the experience.
But I'll have no issues watching foreign films because at least I can see the acting and scenes
The Order of Time by Carlo Rovelli
I wanted to understand what time really is, this obvious and essential yet mysterious part of our reality, just a breakdown of what we truly know so I can wrap my mind around it and this man is able to explain so many complex things in such a simple and beautiful way.

I recommend you check out this twitter thread, you'll get a great overview of how Rumi was westernized and some great translation recommendations in the replies
