NobodyWinsF*** A24 for gatekeeping this s*** to select theaters. Why can’t this get a release worldwide?
A24 is only a US distributor. Its capacity has always been fairly small
Looks like Universal picked it up for the UK release in late January but idk about others. Film distribution has always remained borderline backwards like this oddly
While I hate these slow rollouts, it seems like it must actually work in building interest over time rather than a quick release everywhere at once which would leave theaters after a few weeks

Feel like this trailer did pretty well though no? Didn’t seem like a small movie. I thought it was getting a normal A24 movie release.

i’m expecting the same rollout as zone of interest last year. NY and LA in december, wide-ish release in late january, VOD in February/March

I’ve read that the film depicts the obvious desires for zionism born out of WW2 but ultimately has a skeptical and not entirely full throated stance on it? But obviously barely anyone has seen it on here so we can’t really get into it for a few weeks
