LEGO ZELDA LEAKED

The lack of plot twists in BotW is one of the things I did not like about BotW. In previous Zelda games there were always a bunch of crazy plot twists and unexpected events/cutscenes that happened but in BotW you are told from the get-go what's happened and what you need to do and it all plays out just like that without any meaningful turn of events.

That would REALLY make a difference for me, even thought it's just a small detail it really adds to the experience and makes the game feel more fresh, distinct and up to date, but in the few teasers we've gotten the animations look unchanged. I have very low hopes but I do remember that they changed the animations for Link's Flurry Rush in BotW when you compare the early BotW gameplay footage to the later ones.

isn't the gameplay supposed to feel the same as botw? thought it was gonna be the same looking map as well

Came across one of those "things you didn't know in botw" videos on YouTube and immediately became overwhelmed just got it over the summer

Probably thought they were half way done then saw that BOTW was topping best game of all time lists already realized they had to seriously step it up

I have to beat the Master Sword trial before 2 comes out

I can only imagine what they've thrown in to this one.

If the last one is being considered as a top 5 game ever, what will that look like with a more focused story and 5 years of development on top of the world they've created?

Mfs gon have a whole ass flyable sky with floating Islands over the entirety of hyrule and thats only the tip of the surface, im so interested in what they're clearly hiding from us. Hope we can ride loftwings for easier traversal tho, i loved their designs

I haven't been keeping up with this at all, but what are the chances we get a large and fully inhabited city or two?

I always loved running around the towns and doing the little side quests and learning clues about your plot objectives. WW had full and inhabited towns, as did OoT. MM had Clock Town, which was just f***ing awesome.

I enjoyed the mechanics of BotW, but I missed interacting with all the vibrant and lively inhabitants of Hyrule. I think thats why I've gotten near the end of OoT twice and then stopped. The desolation puts me off a bit.

That’s what im hoping too, since the events that transpired in the last game presumably civilization could be up and running again. We’ll see tho

Tbh botws desolation Is kind of overstated, there are 6 main inhabited places, 1 you build from the ground up, various stables and sometimes you'll find travelers around. Its no skyrim, nor a clock town majora's mask to give a series specific comparison, but for a post-apocalyptic world its not too bad. Im sure we'll get a densely populated Zelda game with this formula; i dont know if totk will be the one though, we dont know how long its been since botw

whatever that time travel/reversal mechanic they were teasing is about to go so hard
