whatever that time travel/reversal mechanic they were teasing is about to go so hard
Imagine the puzzles. And speaking of them, im sure traditional dungeons will be back
I wonder if Link's corrupted arm in Tears of the Kingdom will have anything to do with this old concept art from when they were making concepts for Zelda Wii U (which became Breath of the Wild). It would make for some really dope gameplay if his arm could turn into various tools/weapons. We have seen him use the arm for a Stasis effect in one of the teasers but it would be dope if there's more than just the same old Sheikah slate abilities coming from that arm.

I wouldn’t be disappointed if they did shrines again but agreed, I think proper dungeons are making a comeback im glad they’ve kept such a close lid on things, makes the anticipation even better
This game is going to be heat
I've never seen more of a sure thing
Finishing up Elden Ring RN, then onto Hogwarts Legacy, then onto TotK
amazing year for me

all I wanted was masks are there masks
I honestly can't believe they haven't utilized masks more in the franchise.
And now I'm realizing BotW didn't have a musical instrument either wtf.
Yikes

charging 70 for 720p 30fps
BOTW was arguably the best game ever made and I couldn’t tell you what its technical/graphical stats were. I get that people care about that stuff but for me that’s not important at all.
I mean yea if you charged $70 for Stardew valley it would be like wtf but BOTW was a beautiful game.

That's like ten dollars per year it was under development as consumers we get ripped off constantly but this does not feel like one of those

Yep. Obviously I would rather pay $60 but it feels like games have been costing $60 for a while now and with inflation I can’t really blame them. I look at it like this: going to the movies is $15 for 2 or 2.5 hours of entertainment. A game like BOTW is 60+ hours of entertainment (a lot more if you want to play it to completion or replay it). I don’t mind spending $70. Well worth it.

Yeap i could have payed 200 or more for Mario Odyssey and it still would have been a great deal considering how much I've enjoyed it
Only like .05% of games have that kind of magic but when they do priceless

Lets not give them any ideas

Interesting that you said that about odyssey. I like odyssey and beat it but didn’t love it so much that I ever tried to 100% complete it. It didn’t move me like that. But maybe I’ll circle back to it one day and see how I feel, maybe start it from scratch and go deeper with it
