80 for a 6 year old game is crazy
70 not 80. Depending where you look you can find it for 30/40 rn

Yah I found it for 40 at the supermarket when I got my switch they really thought I was gonna drop 70 on a game
I'm thinking Links corrupted arm could have some corruption effect on whatever weapon he wields with that arm. It is his sword-wielding arm after all. Perhaps that will also have some relation to a new weapon durability system. The more he uses a weapon with that arm, the more it gets corrupted before it eventually breaks, but perhaps the "tears" of the kingdom that you will most likely collect will have some "healing" effect on the corruption which also restores the weapon you then wield. I'm probably way off but I just wanted to speculate on the possibilities.
There was a screenshot floating around of link holding a normal sword with the corrupted hand and the weapon was corrupted too, dont know what that could mean in terms of gameplay tho

When i got the switch it was almost impossible to find a copy of the game, remember gamestop employees telling me they sold 2 zeldas for every switch sold, s*** was crazy i luckily managed to find one (it was the last copy in that store too!) but i did pay full price, was a few weeks after switch released after all. Still, i spent 500 hours on this game and its in my favs of all time so i dont regret it. With Nintendo games its harder to find deals but not impossible imo, at least where i live. Dont know how it is in the us

I'm from France and usually supermarkets have good deals on games compared to game stores, and yeah I bought the switch in 2019 so the hype had died down by then
Am I the only one who thinks it’s kind of pathetic that it’s essentially the same overall map/world? I get they’re going to switch some areas up and stuff, but it basically looks like an extension of BOTW without many upgrades lol

Why not? Look at the Yakuza series.
You have familiarity granted through the mechanics, the characters, the general art direction, why not the game world to some degree?
See how familiar locations have evolved, or devolved.

Would I prefer a completely new world? For sure, but I’m open to see how they can work within the current one. After all, who on earth was expecting Breath of the Wild to get a full blown sequel on the Switch? This game wasn’t even supposed to exist so I’m open to see how it turns out.

Damn you got the game already?
Just realized Zelda’s not holding the regular Sheikah Slate from BotW. This slate has an updated design that looks more sleek and inspired by the Switch console design.
Since lots of enemies have very obvious weapon-looking horns now, i think their solution to weapons breaking is crafting them from enemies corpses lmao. And you apparently could combine s*** to make weird weapons like the flamethrower shield from the E3 2021 trailer or the stick-cannon from the latest trailer, maybe using whatever glue you use for building the rudimentary means of transport. I wonder how many combinations of weapons there are in the game and if you need a recipe to make these special weapons. The corruption of normal weapons due to link's right arm could be another form of weapon degradation reserved to the weapons you find in treasure chests and s***; these wouldnt break, but would be unusuable without restoring them. Either way, we're getting a revamp of that mechanic it seems
Its absurd how many new gameplay mechanics are in this game and we've seen less than a collective 2 minutes of non-cutscene footage. So many of these systems could be the main mechanic in your average game, and we still havent seen the full extent of the phasing mechanic and aerial combat from the released patents

https://twitter.com/nintendouk/status/1624060622534066178Watched the E3 2019 trailer, she didnt have that sheikah slate with her. The design is different too, of course to reference the switch like the slate in botw referenced the Wii U. Now WHY does she have it
dont get your hopes up lol
Imagine if you can build a f***ing airplane
I'd rather explore a hole in the ground

Well we did get confirmation that there will be an expanded underground in the game, plus all the cave entrances you can see in the trailer that werent in botw
Since in botw they dug out the divine beasts and shrines, i wonder if in this game we'll see remnants of sheikah civilization in the underground, like in elden ring with nokron and nokstella

That's my biggest hope considering those cryptic references to a world expanded more than just the sky areas in the delay announcement last year
we’ve only a seen like 7 minutes of a 100 hour game
our minds about to be blow in 3 months

We have confirmation underground is exploable with the latest trailer at least. Who knows if we can go underwater too

they dug them out?
they dug them out?
I remember a cutscene of them digging out the divine beasts, i think it was one of the flashbacks. The shrines i think came out of the ground when they were discovering sheikah stuff so around that time too
replaying botw its actually insane that it has a nostalgia factor now, i dont see how totk wont blow it out of the water
