Played it for about 40 minutes a few weeks ago and even in such a short time I fell in love with it again

That would be such an epic start. Reminds me of Majora's Mask which started off with some action right away.

The only thing I didn't like about the footage today was that the graphics looked a tad bit outdated (in my opinion) and that the animations (fighting, running, climbing, riding your horse) was pretty much unchanged from BotW. I think new animations can make a huge difference in terms of making it look and feel more up to date and fresh. Everything else was fire and exceeded my expectations.

YouTube compression doesn't really do it any justice but I agree on the animations tho, I guess if it's not broken don't fix it but yeah

Nah, im thinking that they didnt want to make a mario odyssey and are instead working on an entirely new 3d Mario. Why its taking them so long is a mystery, but thats also exciting

Perhaps they want to release the next Mario game as a launch title for the Switch 2/Pro instead after hyping up the franchise with the Mario movie

Could be held up until the new console is ready. If bowsers fury is a sign of the direction, the next game is probably really big scale and will need a new console to really shine

Current internal plans are to drop new switch in winter so Mario could be just around the corner :mariolaptop:

I instantly thought of dead riding 2 weapon creation . I got no idea when or if I will ever play this game but loved that weapon creating mechanic so cool to see it return in a game

Never played I’m behind on Nintendo single player . Nintendo switch may restore the feeling or what they make next
