If you waiting this long just wait it out until switch 2
Oh yeah that’s what I’m doing and why I’m invested enough to watch gameplay .

Would consider getting a second hand switch for cheap if you're poor. No telling when the next one is coming.
Imagine if they would drop odyssey 2 in a few months after totk how they dropped odyssey after botw back in 2017
Nintendo really missed the opportunity to completely dominate this video game year
Nah rather one fully complete game then over extend themselves while dealing with covid , layoffs , work from home etc. in the lane of adventure games Zelda still dominating . Zelda
, Starfield and Spider-Man are all open world ambitious but 3 separate taste

Not even poor necessarily as when a new switch , ps5 or xsx about to potentially drop I wouldn’t buy or recommend anyone does now . I already have ps5 and pc so trying to play the back log and new games based on what I already have lol . Just happens that to me Sony and pc ( including Xbox games) have less imaginative experiences. Which is why I mentioned Sony Japan . I’m probably going to try to play both gravity rushes . Maybe final fantasy at launch but just different feels . Starfield my true hyped day 1 purchase right now of feels of wonder
My son is 9 years old. The first thing he said after watching the video was, “Wow! There’s so much new stuff to do in this game!”
I didn’t have the heart to tell him this was basically 30 minutes of DLC content for Nintendo to make a quick buck. :(

Please, for the sake of the child, I am begging you to withhold the truth just until he is old enough to move out. If he were to find out that this is DLC, he would no longer be the same child you once fathered. Do not rob him of his joy and childlike innocence. Be strong and keep it to yourself, even if it destroys you inside that you have to lie to the poor child. It is for the child’s best.
Lol did people expect a game on the same console as the previous and likely same engine to be entirely different ?
I pray spider man 2 has this many new mechanics. Y’all ungrateful calling this dlc with the new mechanics they are adding

MM and OoT were drastically different playing experiences despite being built off of one another for the same console.
Some of the old top down ones were built off of each other while being pretty different games, as well. Even Oracle of Seasons vs Oracle of Ages felt like more separate games than this.

How exactly do you know that when the game isn't even out and the few things we've seen revealed the game would have entirely new mechanics
Wasn't one of the oracles games supposed to be a Zelda 1 remake and they reused a ton of assets and dungeons from it too?

I'm forever salty that the world still looks barren and desolate. I wanted towns and busy markets and they've disappointed me

I know but that was like 20 years ago. The larger the budget in more recent times its been more focused on refinements than entirely new risk. Budgets , cost of staffing, recession, covid all kind of high to completely reinvent the wheel do a new art stye, add too many new mechanics or experiment with things like multiplayer or coop. That is why they are done less often now.
Its incredibly high risk stuff where if they fail its a flop, buggy or constant slew of delays then layoffs vs at least using some old assets you have created. Using 0 old assets , level designs, music, mechanics and being an entirely new game in 2023 from ground up on same engine isn't even "brave" its kind of just stupid
Gamers are fickle. Gamers are paying for remakes, remasters, nostalgia so why entirely try to create a whole new wheel when they make clear they love what they just got

Lol they haven’t shown off towns that doesn’t mean there’s none, there’s gonna be sky cities tbh like early skyloft s***

There's no way there's not more towns than BotW

Well if you pay attention to the background of some of these shots you can see construction sites taking shape on some of the ruins from the previous game, I think there's a pretty good chance we might get to rebuild the land in this game

Idk lowkey I've never played Zelda 1
I've played Link to the Past and on, outside of I think 1 or 2 titles
oh y'all talking whether there will be towns and stuff in this or whether there should be
Would definitely be cool but if it comes to desolate land on Switch and next engine and next Zelda a focus on town and world more I could see that.
That is why I am saying some of the stuff are limitations of being on a 6 year old piece of hardware that when it released was dated. Yet still creating magic and portable. Have to scale expectations to all those things.
Mmmmm
Watch this friends I think there are a lot of clues hinting at what this game is going to be about hidden in this new demo
Whoever said "no mario odyessy this year they missing out on dominating" is sleeping on Pikmin by the way

There were towns in BOTW, about 8 of them I think and they were all very different and full of life so idk why anyone is worried about that particular side of the game
