Yeah I feel you on that. Chamber sounds like the most dated song on the album tbh.. and Decisions is my jam! I just listened to I Can and I see the similarities lol

Another one that might’ve went under your radar

Chamber got me because of his voice, sounds so much younger/hungrier than my favorite Ka records (hungry as in trying to solidify his place in the game vs the weariness I'm used to that he captures so well)

I don't think it'll get up there with my favorite favorite stuff from him but all his stuff does, recently fell in absolute love with Yen Lo and it didn't do much for me at first

Yeah Yen Lo is just a genius album. And I love how on Ka’s track on EMWI, it starts off where Yen Lo ended, with the “Yeeeeennnn Looooooo Yeeeeeeennn Looooo”

I wish I was familar with the movie, Yen Lo feels like the one I miss the most stuff on

Peep it, the 1962 version—it’s really good. It’s funny hearing the snippets from the album in the movie too, like I can’t unhear the song transitions lol

Yeah do it man. I emailed him a year or two ago, and he hit me back pretty quickly. And yeah I think he's getting way more critical attention
