ok but shoes like that are impossible to get for retail

Some memorable Dunk colorways released during the 2000s were selling on eBay in the $200-$300 range before the resurgence in popularity and they continue to increase in value.

Anyone who wants to do this is too dumb and quite frankly lazy to learn about the stock market and crypto. You're acting like you're holding onto Apple shares. Want to make a steady fortune and actually secure yourself some profit in the future? Invest in a company today that can wholeheartedly become much more valuable in the next 5-10 years.

Your Rick Owens sneakers and vintage Nike hoodie you plan to sell in 3 years will net you what you could've made investing in a new company with hype in a week.

To be fair, if you can buy hype shoes at retail they can be sold anywhere from $50 - $2k profit immediately. Not that I want to encourage this behaviour, just saying I can understand why people who are already interested in sneakers might want to.

You look at them as shoes. I see assets.

What a dumb take, everyone saw this coming, the other colorways were already reselling for a lot. The red octobers literally changed Nike’s method of selling sneakers

Seems like i struck a nerve there. What do you have to do with anything when we’re talking about a market? Just because you slept didnt mean everyone else did

You gotta be below 15 years old rn if you don’t remember just how hyped the red October’s and NIKE AIR YEEZYS in general were back then lmfao. Bruh I remember setting Nike twitter alerts a few days before they dropped because there were credible rumors and then I still couldn’t even buy them within a minute of the notification dropping.

I would begin to explain but I also couldn't pretend to be as stupid as you if I tried my hardest so there's not much hope of you retaining much information.

I hope you succeed in buying shoes and selling them for a profit you could've made picking up a book and looking at some charts.

Thank you for being exactly what's wrong with the fashion industry.
