We're definitely in an asset bubble. I'm interested to see what the collectibles market will be like when people aren't getting paid to sit around at home, and income goes back to being spent outside of the home. Low interest rates from banks also have people looking for different places to put their money

They cost $65 in 1985, if you took that $65 and invested it in the S&P 500 in 1985 it would be worth $1300 today after inflation adjustment. That's the most popular sneaker of all time, most shoes are way under that.
So are sneakers really a sound investment? Probably not.
