Can someone put me on some fire films to watch? Maybe some new ones in the last few years?
Does anybody have particular opinions on Adam Curtis's documentaries? I think I watched hypernormalisation a long time ago but don't remember much

Finally got around to watching Parasite. I def didn't think it could possibly live up to the hype, but I was surprised. It was incredible
Anybody ever experienced a sort of writer's block but in terms of movies? A viewer's block or something like that.
For a steady number of years I have been consistently watching 60+ movies a year (which I don't know if it's nothing, average or too much) but in my mind it was a substantial number and I loved it. Watching movies was basically part of my life.
Fast forward a couple of years later and I'm not joking in saying I haven't been watching 5 movies a year which is insane to me but that's like the new reality. It's not even a lack of time or anything like that, but I feel completely disinterested and I can't lose focus for s*** even if I decide to watch something. I don't know why is that. I got depressed a few years ago and lost interest in anything and never could pick up the pieces again. And it makes me really sad man, cinema was the s*** for me.
Same thing for TV shows
Tips, insight?
Couldn't be me

This happened to me for a while as I got more involved with filmmaking in school. It seemed like I couldn't truly enjoy a movie because I was critiquing and a***yzing every moment of it, so I slowly watched less and less over time. Then, I saw Everything, Everywhere, all at Once and it kinda just clicked. It might just take seeing a movie that you are passionate about to get the wheels going again
