Dude saying the first time he shed tears to music was listening to Camila Cabello

I’m sure she has some contrived story but it legit feels like some random out of touch major label employee saw one blp song with a lot of views and said he needs to be on the album. Why is he on here it borders on surreal

This whole albim feels like a weird executive experiment to me

4/10 tbh might honestly be lower

it kinda sucks to see an artist want a good album so bad and the label so heavily supporting them but it just ends up like this

I’ve been listening to the album since it leaked, I’ve heard it. A skit on one of the biggest major label huge budget pop releases of the year where blp kosher talks for 40 seconds about how he likes the artist of the album is odd. There’s no similar skits, it doesn’t tie into anything, it’s blp kosher talking for 40 seconds in the middle of a pop album

could not imagine spending my time in a thread tryna convince others so desperately why something MUSN'T be good lmao

very obnoxious behavior but it's not really that surprising from those who are doing it

anyways, this is like pretty solid which I expected

I agree with that P4K review in the sense that this is way more transitional than statement piece... i just think I LUV IT kinda gave off that impression as a lead single

definitely some highlights on here (pretty when I cry is very good and i think that might go under the radar), but I wish the album felt a little more cohesive in sound as it is thematically

but overall i'm positive on this because it's actually refreshing to see an artist like camila try and step out the box and be willing to """reinvent""" herself in a era of pop that feels very insipid

It’s just a little short but yeah this was a solid ass little formula she had. Needs to get to these same producers and song writers for a deluxe or a follow up

It’s so funny the albums people pick and choose to be immune to criticism. Mediocre label made pop album gets full immunity on here for no reason to the point of pearlclutching every critique. See how irritated people get seeing people criticizing something they won’t listen to outside this week . Something they would never do if they didn’t have contrarian social media brain

From the rollout to the memes and public discourse, I was led to believe this would be a train wreck.

But it's fine? Like it's a fun album.

BLP Kosher interlude caught me really off guard. Not really needed, same with Drake's ("Uuugly").

Other than that it's enjoyable, even if it a little messy. Surprisingly short too.

People are so dramatic and desperate for approval. Album is cool.

  • i think dream-girls and boat are really beautiful tributes to a certain era

It's definitely this weird cosign moment that seems unnecessary....for a record that is so lean you wonder why it's here other than adding to the rebrand. But maybe she just really appreciated the sentiment

I Luv It sounds the way hormones feel, it’s so good. Anything on that level on the rest of the album?
