Doom
still going strong almost 30 years later, when tech advances, so does doom
I'm leaning towards no.
There are games that I LOVE, that still use tank controls. So I would not call that specific game timeless, no matter how much I liked it.
Game is Grim Fandango btw
Yall dont think tech barriers will make it harder for games to be timeless? I can imagine it being easier to watch an old movie vs an old game
the last of us 1 maybe? they gonna remake it for sure in 15 years tho
great story but the gameplay was pretty boring and repetitive in TLOU1 imo
Lots of ppl said HL2. I've never played it and I cba starting now but I did spend a lot of time watching a walkthrough and I gotta say it definitely does hold up pretty well considering. One thing that would still take me out of it is the gameplay though. Your character floating around on the ground, guns not having an oomph etc.

HL2 is the last game I'd call timeless. That game aged like pure ass.
halo 3 timeless as f*** my g, best game ever made
ngl I played it once that Master Chief collection came out, and I gotta say... I disagree completely. It's dated pretty poorly actually.
pretty much any gta

Watchdogs? Timeless? Game was behind the curve when it came out fam
