Everyone needs to learn to manage their time and emotions more effectively as they get older. There's just not enough to go around for people who aren't invested in you like that. It's better to be alone and grow as a person than to be in a one sided friendship or romantic relationship that plays with your emotions.

Not possible, it’s funny that vast majority of the lady friends I had in my life, had a thing towards them on the low. Is it the “Damn she hot, so I want to bang her”? No, but they did give me butterflies whenever they came around and was more than happy to consider them as friends. This is despite them providing minimal value to our supposed friendship and even being little dry with communication.

Even my GF admitted all her guy friendships ended poorly with them confessing feelings towards her. This guy in our dancing community is constantly orbiting around her and seems desperate to start up a friendship with her again. Claims my Gf isn’t his type or whatever but his actions have only shown otherwise. Not to mention him freaking out and getting very nervous at times when alone around her.

To this day I stand by my opinion that men and women, for the most part, cannot be friends.
