    Even science isn't neutral tho

On paper the scientific method is about as neutral as it gets, but in practice its execution is far from neutral

Has the news ever really been neutral? Most sources are left and right leaning, rarely straight forward.

    it never existed

knowlege on the subject is a borderline prerequisite for reading the news or having firends who know about it

  • There is no such thing as “neutral news”

Every interpretation of any set of events is stamped with a class character

You really can’t when it comes to certain topics. It reveals the biases of those with a gigantic agenda, but not the voices of the forgotten people..

Mhm this is true. Many voices are being actively silenced...

  • Sep 16, 2021

    Yes.

  • Sep 16, 2021

It'd likely remove context behind certain topics. But factually reporting on something happening without a bias for/against a particular side is possible. People don't really want that though. They want the pizzazz.

The voices of the people that should really speak on oppression and injustice almost never get a push. Mainstream media is two sides of the same coin & will rarely hold the status quo accountable.

Yes but it prolly won't be popular or talked about ever.

  • Sep 16, 2021

There’s this really cool page on Instagram that I follow called @ridethenews thats informative as hell without any bias. If u want neutral news u have to go to these smaller outlets now, bigger ones f*** around n get funding from one party or another

Also depends from the field of science too, and there's a big difference between neutrality and objectivity

I didn’t describe centrism. I said that news is rarely straightforward. As in indifferent to any political alignment.
